TIPS
- Watch those carbs. Eating too many simple carbohydrates like sugar and white flour can make your hold weight in your face. These foods tend to make you retain water, and one of our body’s favorite water storage facilities along with the hands and ankles is the face. Watching your carbohydrates for this reason has the added side effect of spurring weight loss over your whole body, too. Whole grains like oatmeal absorb slower in your system and don’t cause the problems simple, fast-absorbing carbs do.
- Perform facial exercises. If I had to make a video about how to lose fat in your face, this tip would take up 99% of the disk. This is the best and most natural way to really lose facial fat. From slimming down a double chin to making chubby cheeks sleek, facial exercises can do it. They tone the muscles of the face, tightening and lifting, while helping you burn fat in those problem areas.Facial exercises can be done pretty much anywhere, and you can do them for 5 minutes here to there or in a “workout” that lasts several minutes. They’re convenient and natural, and even if you purchase a facial exercise plan (which is in my opinion the best way) it doesn’t take long for you to see how such a tiny investment can really pay off several times over in the long run. And the great thing about facial exercises is that you won’t just figure out how to lose fat in your face, but you’ll also tone up the muscles than sag and cause double chins. And you’ll also see a tightening and toning in your neck area.
- Cut back on salt. Salt causes water retention. And as we’ve covered, this will probably be stores at least in part in your face.
- Check your prescription and over-the-counter medications for water retention as a side effect. Talk to your doctor about alternatives.
- Check your hairstyle. Is it the most flattering for your face? How to lose fat in your face doesn’t happen overnight, unless you go under the knife. Wear a flattering hairstyle during the transition where your face starts to tone up.
- Learn slimming makeup techniques. A little shading or bronzing along the jaw line and under the chin can help minimize chubby cheeks. Learn how to apply blush so that you minimize the thicker areas and accentuate the positive.
- Get regular exercise to promote fat loss all over your body. This type of fat burning burns fat over your entire body pretty evenly. When you lose fat, you get slimmer and your face typically follows suit, or likes to.
If you follow these types, follow a healthy, nutritional diet and exercise regularly, you’ll be able to lose fat in your face and avoid things like jowls and a double chin.
